If your light turns off and there are no leaks, you can begin the lengthy process of bleeding your braking hydraulics. Always start with your rear brakes and make your way forward.
Have a friend double and triple check your work, which you should have already double checked for any leaks or any moisture. Congratulations, you have now completed our how to upgrade to a ZX brake master cylinder article.

Yokohama Advan a If all the assisted force were made up by mechanical leverage in the pedal assembly it is likely that the pedal throw would be too long before substantial brake work would begin. If the pedal ratio is less than required to generate the required force, then either the master cylinder diameter will have to be reduced or the brake caliper piston sizes will have to be increased to put in place a hydraulic system ratio advantage to make up the difference.
A combination of all three is usually employed to compensate for lack of assisting force. Experience has shown that a pedal ratio of 6. This means that you cannot usually reuse the original equipment pedal to build a pedal arrangement with dual master cylinders because the stock pedal is simply not long enough and often the fulcrum is too low to the floor to provide enough room to make the brake pedal longer.
Shortening the distance from the fulcrum to the pushrod would have the same effect, but is a difficult task best left to an expert fabricator. Without this extra mechanical advantage, you would have to use a smaller master cylinder than may be available or you are at least setting yourself up for a difficult time in picking other system components to make up for the missing mechanical advantage. There are many well-designed and manufactured pedal arrangements with dual master cylinders available from race component suppliers.
Since 4 piston calipers are more responsive and require less pressure to work efficiently, they will need a bigger BMC piston. Small piston diameter gives more pressure versus bigger piston diameter. If the calipers are forced with too much pressure, they will lock up too quickly giving the driver no room for modulation. DIF sources only the highest quality master cylinders available and modifies them for proper non-ABS fitting configuration.
NOTE: All flared fittings are preinstalled for a reliable, leak free operation. This master cylinder is for non-ABS equiped cars requiring three fittings.
Please take care to order the correct master cylinder for your application. NOTE: Conversion to a Z32 master cylinder requires bending of the chassis hard brake lines or installation of a Z32 hard line conversion kit. I have done a whole season of trackdays now with it and it's done fine once I got the balance sorted out properly. It was interesting when I didn't have the balance right. WTF, the kit is awful! Definitely way better with a BM57! Pedal comes in much harder, much earlier.
Can't hit the end of the pedal any more. Will be driving the car in anger on track tomorrow, will give an update. Oulton Park! I'm making my way around the BTCC circuits.
